We are happy to be participating in the Happy New Year Giveaway Hop hosted by I Am A Reader and Not A Writer and Babs Book Bistro from now until January 3, 2012. 2011 has been a good year, in addition to many personal achievements for the BiblioJunkies, 2011 marked the year we finally stopped talking about a book blog and actually started a book blog! The five months we have been the BiblioJunkies has been so much fun and we have gotten to meet and get to know so many fantastic people.
We are looking forward to an even better 2012 and hope you all continue to share our love of books, boys and pie in the new year! So to get 2012 started out right, we are giving away an ARC of Tempest by Julie Cross and a signed copy of Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick (because let's face it, we could all use a little Patch to keep us warm on a winter's night). Unfortunately, this is a U.S. giveaway only.
So, you know the drill. Use the Rafflecopter below to enter. On January 4 or 5 we will announce the winner. We hope you all have a safe and fun New Year's celebration. There are 202 blogs participating in the Hop, so good luck!

ReplyDelete-Paige
My worst was when I told myself I would lose weight and I didn't.
ReplyDeleteMy worst is tellling myself that I will exercise more because I never do unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteMy worst was when I told myself I wouldn't use all my money on buying books and instead buy things I needed more like clothes etc....yeah that didn't work out at all.
ReplyDeleteMy worst was telling myself not to get dragged into other people's business. Kinda hard to do when you're the one the constantly call....
ReplyDeleteTrying to quit smoking!
ReplyDeleteWell, I actually don't make resolutions because I am not motivated to keep them just after the holidays. I know it isn't what you wanted.

Thanks for the great giveaway!!
My husband was making rude comments regarding my weight, so I told him I would gain as much weight as possible and not do anything about it. I gained weight and now I would like to lose it (but not know the husband know he won). thank you
ReplyDeletecandieluster(at)gmail(dot)com
My worst resolution was saying I would read more and then not having the time to do it. I'm in grad school though! Thanks for the giveaway!

My worst is trying to lose weight! I stopped trying to exercise early on!
ReplyDeleteI never make new years resolutions. I think there stupid no one ever sticks to them. Just make up your mind to do something and stick to it.
ReplyDeleteMy worst resolution....to exercise more often. Not following through just makes me feel more guilty.
ReplyDeleteTo stop dating pilots one year when I worked at an airport....then all I seemed to meet was Pilots....it SUCKED!
ReplyDeleteI can't think of one in particular, mostly its just not giving myself enough time to do whatever the resolution is.
ReplyDeleteMy worst : last year saying I'd lose weight. I did in fact, but then let someone else sabatoge me. I shouldn't have given in to them and should've stuck to what I knew was right. I WILL lose the weight this year.
ReplyDeleteQuitting smoking and then letting someone else upset me to the point that I started again and now I'm still trying to quit =/ That's definitely the worst lol :) Thanks for the giveaway :) Happy New year
ReplyDeleteTo try to find a boyfriend in my school. That was a stupid one since all of them are jerks or taken. :(

I actually didn't make any new years resolutions for 2011, but i made some for 2012
ReplyDeleteMy worst/best New Year's resolution was diet-related. The only year that I ever actually made the resolution to lose weight was the year that I got pregnant - on approximately New Year's Eve. I try to avoid that one now (one kid is plenty for me).
ReplyDeleteLoosing weight is always the best and worst resolution.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in the hop and for the giveaway opportunity.
ReplyDeleteMy worst resolution though it is really good for me is to lose weight nad eat right.
sophiarose1816@gmail.com
I generally don't make resolutions, so I don't have a worst resolution :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteoh the plan to exercise i'm sure. make myself miserable for a few weeks being good and exercising before i get too cranky, give up and enjoy the rest of the year in anti exercise bliss.
ReplyDeleteMy worst resolution was to lose weight. Never happened and I didn't really need to XD
ReplyDeleteMy worst one ever was probably to los a ton of weight in a short amount of time. It totally backfired because it was so stressful and strict!!

ReplyDeletelexie.bookbug at gmail dot com
I try not to make resolutions :)
ReplyDeleteTo become more organized.
ReplyDeleteJudy
I thought it would be a good idea to resolve to not smoke. Between the guilt and the pressure of having to quit that I set upon myself I ended up smoking more. So last year I decided that I wouldn't resolve to do it. Without the added pressure I gave myself I quit cold turkey in my own time. I've now been without cigarettes for 4.5 months. I don't make resolutions anymore lol.
ReplyDeletelosing weight.... LOL. It never works!
ReplyDeleteI resolved to lose weight but hey didn't happen.
ReplyDeleteGFC Cricket

ReplyDeleteI don't know if I have had a worst resolution. I used to always resolve to lose weight or get organized. It never happened, so I stopped making resolutions.

The worst new year's resolution is always to lose weight. It is self defeating and turns into a vicious circle that to me results in weight gain LOL Thank you for participating in this Happy New Year hop.

I actually don't make resolutions. If only so the next year, if someone asks what my worst resolution was, I can say I have never had one!
ReplyDeleteTo finally read 100 books in one year and Love myself more ^^
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Giveaway!
I don't make them anymore, because I always fail at them. But a long time ago, I made one to quit smoking - which of course, I failed! I had to wait until I was pregnant with my first son to have a reason to stop. I've been free from nicotine now for 23 years, woot!! Thank God for that kid!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the awesome giveaway!
Happy New Year!

I stopped making resolutions because they feel fake to me. I set goals at different times throughout the whole year. For years I'd say I'd quit eating junk food, and it never lasted for more than a week.
ReplyDeleteMy worst resolution was to read LESS.
ReplyDeleteNever worked.
What I always say I'm going to do! Lose weight tone up :/ This is my year ;)

I want to follow through on things better than I have in the past, and to read more! :)
ReplyDeleteMy goal this past year was to read a 100 books...and I only read 94. I'm still kinda irritated that I missed my goal. Oh well, just more motivation to hit it this year!
ReplyDeleteI really don't have a worst but one for this year is to be picky with myself about what books I buy.
ReplyDeleteMy worst New Years resolution was when I thought I could loose weight :(
ReplyDeletejmesparza821(at)gmail(dot)com

ReplyDeletetressa dot sherman at hotmail dot com
My worst New Year's resolution was to get organized. It was a complete and utter failure. Several years later I still have not managed to get organized. Some things were just not meant to be.
ReplyDeleteI only made 1 :)
ReplyDeleteTo lose weight! I only gained more!
ReplyDeleteWorst new years resolution? I guess to lose weight. :P typical isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the amazing giveaway!
I don't usually make actual concrete resolutions, but I always have that plan to eat better, get in shape, and get organized. None of these things every happen.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway ;)
ReplyDeleteMy worst NY resolution is probably the age-old "I will lose weight" resolution, and I say that because I never did it. LOL
I actually don't make New Year's resolutions because I know I will never follow through with them.
ReplyDeletethe imagine tree at aol dot com
Worst resolution: diet and exercise more. Made it harder to stick to and bigger let down when didn't reach goal. I do better exercising regularly and eating sensibly.
ReplyDeletezenfoxflowerATyahooDOTcom
I am documenting all the books I read this year on Goodreads.
ReplyDeleteTo not buy so many books since I was running out of space. Yeah I failed that completely.
ReplyDeleteAmy Lynn
To stop cussing so much..hahaha yeah that worked out great!(sarcasm)
