A Peek In The BiblioBin #179 - Book Exchange Edition
Welcome to our Stacking the Shelves post! Stacking the Shelves (or as we like to call it, A Peek in the BiblioBin) has been created by the lovely ladies at Tynga's Reviews.
Stacking the Shelves is a way for bloggers to share what books they have won, received for review, bought from the bookstore, borrowed from the library or friend, etc.

We had our annual Bibliojunkies Christmas get-together Saturday. We consider ourselves to be pretty laid-back people so the attire is always comfy pants and fuzzy socks. We ordered take-out from this excellent Chinese place by Shel's followed by a delicious chocolate fondue. This year, our party was held at Bel's. Shel and Nat had to put up with Bel's hyper children who may or may not have eaten a few cookies before their arrival. Once we were left on our own we proceeded to our favourite part: we gift each other our favourite books of the past year. It's fun to see what we might get. The whole point is to introduce each other to authors we may not have read yet or even a genre that we haven't tried. You can see our goodies below. After the gift exchange, we watched Trainwreck which Shel and Nat hadn't seen yet. That's Christmasy, right? We watched the opening few sketches of SNL (loved the meeting of Hillary of past and present!). And finally because we wave our geek flag proudly, Shel and Bel decided to introduce Nat to the show, Roswell. This is our heaven -- being with friends, sharing laughs, bingeing on tv shows. It's the BEST feeling in the world to hang with people who know you and with whom you're comfortable. We hope that you and your friends and family share plenty of laughs, hugs and silliness this Christmas season! And books, too! Bibliojunkies Gift Exchange:
